This was a great little find just outside the town of Adiyaman. This Nekropolis, I think, dates back to 600A.D. The Nekropolis was, of course, part of a town that was located on an important trade route in East Turkey. It's amazing how many Roman ruins survive in Turkey today. After all it was once part of and capitol of the Roman empire at one time! We had a great time exploring and climbing around all the caves. Very creepy to think there used to be thousands of dead people here, EEek!

Watch your step! We're daredevils.

Inside one of the tombs with Susan.

Feyzullah stretching out in one of the graves, haha!

Way up high. Getting plenty of exercise!

Going down into a very scarey dark room, cave or something!

What a spectacular day!
